Server log files
If you open this page, our provider automatically collects and stores information in what is known as server log files which your browser automatically transmits to us. This is:
- browser type and browser version
- operating system used
- referrer URL
- host name of the accessing computer
- time of the server request

Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR forms the basis for data processing and allows the processing of data on the basis of a legitimate interest. In this case, there is a legitimate interest in operating the web server securely and without any malfunctions.
To ensure this, the server log files need to enable the recognition and tracking of attacks and malfunctions of the system. In order to recognise attack patterns and to trace back the attacker and/or his provider, any access to the server including the traceable source of the access (complete IP address) has to be stored for a specific period of time. The maximum period of time for the storage is seven days. This data will be erased as soon as it is no longer required.
You are entitled to object to the processing of your data at any time due to reasons relating to your particular situation. In this case, we will review on an individual basis whether we require your data for the remaining storage period in order to ensure an error-free operation of the web server. Should this not be the case, we will erase this data.
