Within the framework of the applicable legal provisions, you have the right at any time to free information about your stored personal data, its origin and recipient and the purpose of data processing and, if applicable, a right to rectification, restriction of processing or deletion of this data.

If the personal data concerning you is processed for the purpose of direct marketing, you have the right to object at any time to the processing of personal data concerning you for the purpose of such marketing; this also applies to profiling, insofar as it is related to such direct marketing.

If you object to processing for direct marketing purposes, we will no longer process the personal data concerning you for these purposes.

Processor

The personal data collected within the scope of this website is processed by our server hoster (order processor) on our behalf. Insofar as the collected data is also made available to other recipients, this is noted below in the individual data collections or data transfers.

2. data collection with the exception of analytics tools, social media and plugins.
Server log files

When you access this page, our provider automatically collects and stores information in so-called server log files, which your browser automatically transmits to us. These are:

  • Browser type and version

  • Operating system used

  • Referrer URL

  • Host name of the accessing computer

  • Time of the server request

  • IP address

This data is not merged with other data sources.

The basis for data processing is Art. 6 (1) lit. f DSGVO, which permits the processing of data based on legitimate interest. In this case, there is a legitimate interest in the secure and trouble-free operation of the web server.

To ensure this, it must be possible to detect and trace attacks and malfunctions of the system via the server log files. In order to recognize attack patterns and to be able to trace the attacker or its provider, if necessary, accesses to the server must be stored for a certain period of time, including the traceable source of the access (complete IP address). The maximum storage period is seven days. As soon as this data is no longer required, it is deleted.

You can object to this processing of your data at any time for reasons arising from your particular situation. In this case, we will check in each individual case whether we still need your data for the trouble-free operation of the web server for the remaining period of storage. If this is not the case, we will delete your data.

Contact form and e-mail

A contact form is available on our website, which can be used for electronic contact. If you use this option, the data entered in the input mask will be transmitted to us and stored. It is mandatory to enter your (first) name and e-mail address. Further data (address, telephone number or other data that can be entered via the free text field) will only be processed if you provide us with this data voluntarily. In addition, it is possible to contact us via the e-mail address provided. In this case, the user's personal data transmitted with the e-mail will be stored. The data is used exclusively for the processing of the conversation, so that a data transfer to third parties is excluded.

The legal basis for the processing of the data is Art. 6 (1) lit. a DSGVO if the user has given his consent. The legal basis for the processing of data transmitted in the course of sending an e-mail is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO. If the e-mail contact is aimed at the fulfillment of an existing contract (in particular a client relationship) or the conclusion of a contract (in particular a client relationship), the legal basis for the processing is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b DSGVO.

Newsletter

On our website there is the possibility to subscribe to a free newsletter. For the purpose of the deliverability of the newsletter, the data from the input mask will be transmitted to us when registering for the newsletter. It is only mandatory to enter your e-mail address. Further data (title, (first) name, company, address, telephone number or other data that can be entered via the free text field) will only be processed if you provide us with this data voluntarily. Your consent (Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. a DSGVO) is obtained for the processing of the data during the registration process.

Webinars and events

Our website also offers the option of registering for our webinars. For the purpose of registration, implementation and subsequent sending of the webinar documents, the data from the input mask are transmitted to us when you register for the seminar. In addition to your e-mail address, it is mandatory to enter your (first) name, the name of the company you work for, your address and your telephone number. Further data (esp. information via the free text field) will only be processed if you provide us with this data voluntarily. The processing of your data is necessary to carry out the webinar/event and to enable your participation. The legal basis for this is Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. b DSGVO.

The personal data collected in connection with the registration, implementation and subsequent sending of the webinar documents will be processed by our webinar service provider (order processor) on our behalf.

Direct marketing

In addition to the specific purposes stated above (under contact form and e-mail, newsletter, webinars and events), we also process the data you enter for the purpose of direct marketing. The same applies if you register for a webinar held by us with an external webinar provider (via a link placed on our website or which we send in an invitation e-mail) and the webinar provider forwards the personal data collected from you to us. Processing for direct marketing purposes also includes, in particular, the sending of (other) newsletters and publications as well as webinar or event invitations.

The legal basis for the processing of your data for the purpose of direct marketing is Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. f DSGVO.

You have the right to object at any time to the processing of your data for the purpose of direct marketing; this also applies to profiling, insofar as it is associated with such direct marketing.

If you object to processing for direct marketing purposes, we will no longer process the personal data concerning you for these purposes and will delete your data.

3. social media
Share content via plugins (Facebook, Xing and LinkedIn)

The content on our pages can be shared on social networks (Facebook, Xing and LinkedIn). Furthermore, for example, the location of our office can be viewed via Google Maps. For this purpose, links to the respective network and to Google Maps are provided on our website. These are not so-called plug-ins, which already establish contact with the network operator when the website is loaded, but links. Only when you click on the link does your browser - as with any link - establish a connection to the server specified in the link. A direct data transmission between our server and the network operator does not take place.

4. cookies

We use so-called cookies on our website to make our website technically available and to statistically record and evaluate the use of our website for the purpose of optimization (see section 5). Cookies are small files that are automatically created by your browser and stored on your end device (laptop, tablet, smartphone or similar) when you visit our site. Cookies do not cause any damage to your end device, do not contain viruses, Trojans or other malware. In the cookie, information is stored that arises in each case in connection with the specific end device used. This does not mean, however, that we gain direct knowledge of your identity.

The use of cookies serves on the one hand to make the use of our website more pleasant for you. We use so-called session cookies to recognize that you have already visited individual pages of our website. These are automatically deleted after you leave our site. On the other hand, we use cookies to statistically record the use of our website and to evaluate it for the purpose of optimizing our offer for you (see section 5). These cookies enable us to automatically recognize that you have already been to our site when you visit it again. These cookies are automatically deleted after a defined period of time. Cookies are also used to make our website technically available.

We base the processing of your data through the cookies used for the aforementioned technically necessary purposes in accordance with Art. 6 (1) p. 1 lit. f DSGVO on our legitimate interest. In addition, we set cookies and process the data through the cookies used only on the basis of your consent pursuant to Art. 6 (1) p. 1 lit. a DSGVO. You can revoke your consent at any time with effect for the future via our consent management tool.

5. analysis tool - Google Analytics 4

We use Google Analytics on our website, a web analytics service provided by Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA (hereinafter: "Google"). In this context, pseudonymous usage profiles are created and cookies are used.

The information generated by the cookie about the use of our website (e.g. IP address of the accessing computer, time of access, referrer URL and information about the browser and operating system used) is transmitted to Google servers in the USA and processed there.

The use of Google Analytics is based on your consent pursuant to Art. 6 (1) p. 1 lit. a DSGVO. Google processes the information on our behalf for the purpose of evaluating your use of the website, compiling reports on website activity and providing us with other services relating to website activity and internet usage for the purposes of market research and tailoring this website to your needs.

We have concluded an order processing contract with Google for the use of Google Analytics. Through this contract, Google assures that they process the data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation and ensure the protection of the rights of the data subject.

We only use Google Analytics with IP anonymization enabled. This means that the IP address of the user is shortened by Google within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area. The IP address is not merged with other data from Google.

We do not use the Universal Analytics with User ID offered by Google.

If necessary, the collected data will be transferred to third parties if this is required by law or if third parties process the data on behalf.

The user data collected via cookies is automatically deleted after 14 months.

The information generated by the cookies set by Google Analytics about the use of our website is transferred to Google servers in the USA and processed there. The transmitted data are only pseudonyms, a conclusion to your name is not possible. We have concluded a contract with Google incorporating the EU standard contractual clauses. This promotes a level of data protection comparable with the EU.

In addition, we will only transfer your data if you expressly consent to the processing by Google. In this case, you consent to the transfer of your data to the USA in accordance with Article 49 (1) (a) of the GDPR, knowing the risks involved (possible access to your personal data by US authorities due to the PRISM and UPSTREAM surveillance programs based on Section 702 of FISA (Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act), as well as on the basis of Executive Order 12333 or Presidential Police Directive 28; non-existence of effective legal protection options of EU citizens against these accesses in the USA or the EU).

You can revoke your consent for the future at any time via our consent management tool.

Further information on data protection in connection with Google Analytics can be found, for example, in theGoogle Analytics Help. You can find information about Google's data usage in theirPrivacy policy.

6. other plugins and tools

We integrate videos of the company Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland (hereinafter: "YouTube"), a Google company, on our website. The implementation is based on your consent according to Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. a DSGVO. By loading the videos on our website, data is forwarded to Google. In particular, it is transmitted to Google which of our websites you have visited as well as device-specific information including the IP address.

Here, we use the "extended data protection mode" option provided by YouTube. When you call up a page that has an embedded video, this merely establishes a connection to the YouTube servers and in the process displays the content on the website by notifying your browser when you actually watch the video.

If you are logged in to YouTube at the same time, this information will be assigned to your YouTube member account. You can prevent this by logging out of your member account before visiting our website. Your data will be deleted as soon as it is no longer needed for the purpose of processing.

For more information on data protection in connection with YouTube, please see thePrivacy policy from Google.
